Thank you for your reply. I guess I didn't phrase my query properly. I'm pretty sure he was Laura nee Blackwell's husband, but I was hoping for confirmation other than what is in her book. Count Turczynowicz was a professor of hydrology and agriculture in several Polish universities. He apparently died in the early 1950's after having remarried and had another child. My question is "Is this the same man" and what were the circumstances that caused him to remarry as I am sure this was not an easy decision as he was Roman Catholic". The Count seems to be a very mysterious individual to me, at the moment.
