According to a travel document issued to her in 1886, my grandmother Vera Evlampieva was born in Russian Poland to a Russian father and German mother. As translated by others, the document indicates that she was from a village Rechitza, Ravskov district, in the Petrokow province. I was told this was in the Pietrkow Trybunalski area today, but I have had no luck in locating this place (now the Lodz province. There are several places in Poland with similar names such as Reczyce which is SW of Warsaw Recice, and Reszecie both NW of Warsaw and others. Is anyone familar with these places?
Also I haven't had any luck with the family name, Evlampieva. Lots of contemporary ones on the internet, but os amyone familar with the name? Can anyone help with where I should look/
