Is there anybody who has some information on the surname of MUSCHIKOWSKI? It is said that Gottfried Muschikowski's father was Russian. Gottfried married Anna Gehrke before 1884. At that time he lived in Zaskocz = Zaskotsch where his daughter Christine was born in 1884. In 1906 he and his family lived in Rheinsberg = Rynsk. Those villages belonged to Kreis (county) Briesen in West Prussia, Germany, now Poland. Christine married my greatgrandmother's brother Arthur Haak, carpenter, * 1885, in Rheinsberg in 1906.
