JP -
Thanks for the information. A quick question if I may? So... given the last name, presuming (hopefully correctly...) that the Czech Republic was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire (pre-1918 WWI), what's the liklihood of that region of europe a migration point for German peoples in the early 1800's to eventually arrive in Hungary? I ask because I'm not sure how to proceed backward from there, Theresinstadt. It seems Germany kept wonderful record of things, but each generation back makes the search, it seems, more difficult.
Anyhow... a GREAT breakthrough for me. Thank you Attila and JP for the information. Invaluable to me.
