Looking for relatives of Mihaly Andrew Rezes, Jozef Rezes and Zsuzsa Rezes Urban. Mihaly and Zsuzsa both imigrated to USA.Jozef Rezes remained in Abara,Hungary--Oborin,Slovakia now. But I've been told the family may have originally came from Hajdu-Bihar area. Jozef had three sons Alex,Berh and Dezider. Mihaly(Michael)Rezes(1891-1962) and Julia Walko(1896-1963) had four children Michael ,Helen,John and Margaret.

I was intrigued by your post because both the Urban and Rezes names were in it, with Urban rare and Rezes even more rare... My great-grandfather was Janos Rezes (b Jul 1876, d 1941) and had children Betty, Steve, Margaret, Andrew, Helen, John, and Jennie. Jennie (my paternal gmother) is now 91, and her little brother Steve (89) is still alive as well.

Janos emigrated from Hungary and married Erzebet Fescu in NYC.

I know Janos arrived in NYC at Ellis Island from Bremen, Germany and originally went to Syracuse, NY. Eventually settled in the Drakes/Congo Ohio area.

My g-g grandfather is Jozef Rezes brother of Janos Rezes and Andras Rezes.My g-grand father is Mihaly Rezes. .Grandfather is Michael Andrew Rezes. I've sent more info to your e-mail address. Yes Kenneth there is a connection ,Jozef Rezes my G-G Grandfather is the brother of Janos Rezes and Andras Rezes. Also does the Steve that you mention live in Columbus ,Ohio if so I've talked to him twice on the phone. I've made contact with Rezes and Urban Family in Slovakia. Steve Rezes was my grandfather on my mothers side. He passed away on August 6th, 2005.
