I was excited to read that Lajor Reich and Joseph L. Kupan were able to provide information on where to write in Transylvania. My ancestors orignated from places throughout Transylvania. I have the following information:

Grandfather
Bela Mezei
He was born in 1896 in Segesvar, Nagy-Kukullo Vermegye.
He was Roman Catholic and was an altar boy as a boy

Great Grandfather: Josef Mezei
Location: Segesvar, Nagy-Kukullo

Great Great Grandfather: Andrew Mezei
Great Great Grandmother: Boriska (her maidne last name is unknown)
Location: Segesvar or immidiate vicinity

Great Grandmother
Maidne last name: Anna Furedi
She was born around 1861 in Maros Varsarahely, Maros-Torda Varmegye
Evidence points to her being a Hungarian Reformed Church Member

Great Great Grandfather: Andras Furedi
Great Great Grandmoter's maiden last name: Anna Borbe
Location: Maros Vasarahely, Maros-Torda Varmegy or immediate vicinity

Grandmother
Her maiden last name: Anna Fronius
She was born in Nagyszeben (Hermanstadt, Sibiu), Szeben Vermegye. However, she may have been born in Medias, which is approximately 40 miles from Segesvar (Schassburg, Sighisoara)
She was born in 1896
She was Lutheran

Great Grandfather
John Fronius
He was born in 1861 in Pretai-- I do not know Varmegye where Pretai is located.
He was Lutheran
His wife's maiden name : Anna Gardner
Do not know where she was born. Her last name seems to be very unusual in Transylvania

Great, Great Grandfather
Andreas Fronius
Pretai, Transylvania
His wife's maiden name: Katharina Martini
Do not know where she was born.

Being able to find addresses for churches and civil record keeping institutions will help us to write and ask questions that we have. I also need to know if I should send money and what would be the appropriate amount. Hopefully, these questions about where to write can be answered for myself and others that have ancestors in Transyvania.
