Hi, the Windber Area Museum is working hard on establishing a Heritage Room where we will preserve any and all family histories, big or small amounts, on the ethnic families who came into the region and helped to build the town for the Berwind White Coal Co. Until now the ethnic families have not held much interest as did the early pioneers who resided here before 1900.
Would you please add your family history so others can learn from it and add to it for future generations.
