I'm trying to find out the parents of my great-great grandparents Joseph Kovatch and Amelia Kish. I also particularly want to know if they were Jewish, since Kish is a Jewish surname. They lived in Budapest, Hungary before moving to America. I have searched and cannot find any records past my great-great grandparents. Can anyone lend their expertise?
