HI My grandfather was Emeric J Mayer whom married Julia Balogh from Budapest Hungary. My uncle did a family tree and found out Andrew Balogh is my great grandfather. He obtained a pic of him when traveled over there in 80s. Also he told me that I am also related to Lord Thomas Balogh economist mentioned in book "Budapest 1900". by John Lukacs. Want to find out if this is true and go father back than Thomas Balogh. I have pics of Andrew, and Julia Balogh whom married Emeric J Mayer and then immigrated in early 1900s by boat is all I know. Julia and Emeric lived in Elgin, Illinois and where they died.
