I have in my possession a picture of Elizabeth Joeckel (see www.deadfred.com) I suspected that this is my grandfather's (Carl George Joeckel) first wife. They had two children born in Hungry. Their names are Anton (Tony - nickname) died in 1908 in Hungry and Rose.

His second wife was name Babette Leis b on dec 24, 1876 in Germany. She died in NY in April 26, 1926. Carl died on dec 1963 in New York.

Joeckel came from Tscherwenka, Hungry or Cservenka, Bacs-Bodrog, Hungry.
