I recieved this sad message today about Lajos. Many of you may know him as he was always ready and willing to help with genealogy questions. I certainly will miss our exchanges on this board as well as our private emails. Robert Jerin

Dear Friends of Lajos Reich,

I am sorry to inform you that our dear friend Lajos Reich has passed away.

My wife and I have many good memories of him and wish to express our condolences and deepest sympathy to his family.
I received the note below from Lajos’s son András earlier today. For those of you who have no Hungarian, here is a translation:

“I inform you with deep sorrow that my beloved father passed away at home among the members of his family on January 15th.

He is mourned by his loving wife, children and grandchildren.
