Also, I don't have any information on the children of Lizzie and Peter. Can you send ?

I cannot add to the information on Lizzie and family, but as I mentioned in an eariler message, her parents are John W. Wissinger & Susanna Morris Bowles (his third wife). I can send you more on this family via email if you're interested.

John W's parents are Daniel Thomas Wissinger & Cyntha Maria Conkling (his first wife). Daniel was born in Harper's Ferry, Virginia in 1812 and moved to Springfield, Ohio around 1830.

This is where I come in. My ancestor's were an immigrant family that settled in Frederick Co., Maryland in the 1740's. One of the sons of this family, moved to the Cambria Co., Pa. area and esstablished a large family that still exists today. The majority of Wissinger's in the U.S. decind from this family (see my website for more details).

In my research, I discovered several Wisisnger's from the Loudon and Jefferson Counties of Va. To date, no one has been able to determine who the parents of Daniel Thomas Wissinger are. Several researchers including myself assume there is a connection to the Maryland family, but it hasn't been found (yet). Records from this area of Va/WV are very hard to find.
