Has anyone actually gotten any information on their ancestors from the Lutheran Church for the city of Breslau? And if so, where did you mail the request to. I had heard that the area had been heavily bombed during WWII and that most records were destroyed.

I am looking for "Hischers" from the city that immigrated in the 1880's through the port of Hamburg and arrived in Illinois.
