Johann Wilhelm Graefe was born 12-2-1816 in Podelwitz near Leipzig an instrument maker. He married Charlotte Concordia Clarissa MÖBIUS in April 1837. She was born in 1812, Leipzig Her parent were Hermann Johann David Möbius, born circa 1775, & Christiana Fredericka Simon, born 1780.
