I am trying to find the birthplace and date of birth for my great grandfather Charles Julius Unger who was born in Zwickau Saxony in 1845. His parents were Heinrich Unger (Baker) and
Agnes Markert.
He emigrated to Glasgow in 1866 and worked as a mercantile clerk in Dubs & Co an engineworks. The last of the Unger relatives died out in Scotland in the 1950s.
