I recently came across some genealogy notes which were made by an ancestor who has long since passed away. In her notes, she speaks of ancestors who were born in Nenniwitz, Prussia. She later refers to the same town as being in Germany. Nenniwitz sounds like it's a town name in the Saxony region, but I'm unable to find any type of reference to it anywhere. Possibly her spelling was wrong, or possibly the town no longer exists. The time reference for Nenniwitz being in existance would be 1815. Can anyone help to identify if this was a town, and where it was at?
Thanks!
