I am seeking information on August ERDMANN, my gg-grandfather. Born in Pommerania, Prussia/Germany abt. 1841and emigrated to Milwaukee, WI abt. 1865. His first wife was Magdalena RADTKE (1845-1876). They had 3 children - Olga, Agnes, and Oscar. After Magdalena died, August married Bertha SCHLAUPITZ in 1877. They had 4 children - Ida, Clara, Alex, and Edward. August and Bertha separated sometime in the 1890's, and August then married a woman named Hilda.

August and Bertha's marriage certificate states that August's parents were Wilhelm ERDMANN and Christing BEHLING.

August's son Edward ERDMAN (my g-grandfather) was married to May BENDER. Any information would be helpful - thanks!
