My wife is descended from Johann Heinrich Raberding from Petershagen. He emigrated to New York City before 1853 and lived in Jamaica, Queens with wife Elise Leverenz and at least 2 children, Minnie and Heinrich Wilhelm F. Elise Leverenz was from Oldenburg. I believe Johann Heinrich is the son of Diedrich Raberding and Henriette Bruns. Please contact me if anyone has further information about this family.
