There were none such cities. The Seine is a river in France, Prussia was a state of Germany. And what makes you think, that the river or the city was moved in 1871, so that the geographic relation would not hold true any longer in 1871 and afterwards ?

What you are asking for is like 'Which Canadian Cities were near the Colorado river ?'

Check the name of the river, I suspect you glitched there.

However vague the information given the date 1871 is obviously of importance. Prior to Bismarck's unification of the German states in 1870(?) Prussia was an independent kingdom, after that date it was a kingdom within the German Empire which meant many people claimed to have come from "Germany" even though they still lived in Prussia, while others would say they came from Prussia when they actually came from Germany (German Empire). I would also think that perhaps the enquirer has mixed up the Seine with the Rhine, which is spelled Rhein in German and although I cannot think of a town with a name ending in "camp" offhand it could be worth getting a good map of the Rhein and taking a look at the towns along the northern part before it enters Holland because a large part of that area was part of Prussia

Making an addition to halparks post, I would assume, you are looking for town of KAMP, district of Moers, near the river rhine ( Rhein ), in former times also spelled CAMP. Since APRIL 1, 1934 the new townname is KAMP-LINTFORT. Its nowadays located in the german federal state of Nordrhein-Westfalen. Information you find at Wikipedia.org

Everyone here would gladly help you. But unfortunately, your details are very very scanty. One can therefore only speculate, and you therefore cannot hope for a correct answer. I say another place to you yet; however this place does not give you any guarantee either: a place at the Rhine river with the name: "Camp" (from latin: campus). After 1936 "Kamp". The neighbouring village of Kamp was Bornhofen. And since 1948 is this the municipality of "Kamp-Bornhofen".
