I have an Abraham abd Rachael Silverstone both born around 1820 in prussia. I'd like to know what other versions of theyr name there may be. They were referred to as Zelamstein by a family member but I've found no evidence of this so far. Can anyone help?

The original name of course is : SILBERSTEIN.But the name shouldn´t have changed. It was vorbidden to jew with penalty of death to change his name.
