They had 8 children: Otto, Carl, Julius, Ernest, Richard, Walter, Maria, and Paul. Carl was born in Polzin; Walter in Berlin. Family emigrated to New York City in 1884. They were painters and decorators. Julius was a catholic; not sure about Ottilie.
