Part of my family were from these three cities in Kreis Schlawe, Pommern (Strehlow, Schwarz). They lived there from at least 1830 until about 1868 when they emigrated to the Town of Maine, Marathon County, Wisconsin.

I'm looking for any information about the town itself. History, photos, other families who might have lived there, etc. Perhaps even people living there today who might be able to tell me if any descendants of those families still live there.
