My great grandfather was herman fricke borh in ornshagen in 1864 and came to United States in 1882 Settled in Stiles Junction Wisconsin. Married with 4 children Clara, Elizabeth, Agnes and Albert. Married Anna Bertha Wach in 1884 Died in 1892.

I believe I found ship record for Dec 14, 1882 listing him as Herman Tricke traveling with Heinrich Tricke with was 26 at the time. T and F look similar so I believ they are both Fricke. Herman listed as baker and Heinrich as farmer Fathers name was Friedrich and mother auguste pagel. Possible that his father was a knight good tenant listed in a file on frederick the great - looks like a military listing.
