Thank you, David. I got both villages from immigration information for the family, (Cichov for relative listed in Czech. and Radimov for immigrant) which I know may not always be exactly correct. I'm subscribed to the Trebon archive email updates but haven't had time to check to see when these records made it online. The detailed information /explanation you've given me about the villages and parishes will help me in my search. I did a preliminary land search when the Czech Society held their meeting here in St. Louis but was unsuccessful, as well. We are beginning to suspect that the family originally lived elsewhere prior to 1850 or so, then moved to Bohemia/Moravia around that time. I am going to pursue your suggestions for the parish records, especially for those after 1785. I do appreciate your insight and thank you for taking the time to look up the land information!
