We have traced our ancestors to Novy Hrozenkov, Moravia. My great grandfather was John/Johann/Jan Dybala, who was born there in September 28, 1831. He and his wife, Mariana Krett, left Novy Hrozenkov in 1869 and came to Texas in the United States.

John had two brothers, Paul (born November 12, 1823) and Cyril (born March 9, 1837) and one sister, Mariana/Marina (born March 26, 1834).

John was the son of Paul/Pavel Dybala (born November 17, 1789) and Veronica Wassek (born February 12, 1822).

This Paul/Pavel Dybala was the son of Paul/Pavel Dybala (born September 2, 1764) and Anna Wezak (born February 21, 1786).

Paul/Pavel Dybala (Sept.2, 1764) was the son of yet another Paul/Pavel Dybala and Anna Kristinik. Anna was born October 30, 1757.

This last (or rather, first) Paul/Pavel Dybala was the son of George Dybala, whose birth date is unknown.

We would like to connect with all our relatives and hope to trace our roots further back. The first Dybala moved to Novy Hrozenkov in the 1600's. We aren't sure where he came from. Some Dybalas have contacted us saying they are Polish.
