I have hit a road block in trying to find out information originating in
Galicia about my Polish great-grandfather, Joseph
Konieczny. I know from US census records (1900, 1910, 1920, 1930, in Elmira, NY and
Rochester, NY) that he came from
Galicia in 1883, but I have been unable to find any birth, marriage, or passenger list records telling me who his parents were and more precisely where he grew up. Here is what I do know:
