Yup, I truly believe that would be it. Looking at a map wouldn't tell me anything, since I have no family records to either verify the location, or images of villages or maps.
Further, I notice that many many passenger records did not contain the proper characters for the language(s) of such foreign countries. So, being that there lacks any other origin within Poland/Austria at that time, this to me, is plenty evidence that Biez'dziadka is what was intended to be written on the passenger record.
Now, I would like to know if Podkarpackie is a city? And you did not capitalize "wojewodztwo" - what is that word? Thank you for the maps. I am looking at them best as I can.
By the way, as you had tried to assist me before, I wanted to let you know that I finally (after a year) got the names from the tomstones of my g. Grandparents. The last name IS listed as Komisarz (later changed to Komesa, then Komisary.) First names were Wojciech and Wladyslawa. Wojciech was listed as the "origin" for at least one relative, Tomisaz Komisarz, in Carnegie, PA.
