I finally obtained naturalization papers for my grandmother Emma PETEREIT, and they indicate that she was born in Dougelischken. Her husband Fritz MESSLING was born in Beibelm, "East Prusha." They were married in Insterburg. I see that Insterburg is now Tschernjachowsk. Does anybody recognize the first two towns?
