I am trying to find a link to my Wohlman/Wollmann ancestors who immigrated from Bohemia departing from Bremen aboard the ship Mosel and arriving July 6, 1878. They settled in Huron Co. Michigan. The parents were Henry and Barbara who were born between 1830 -1840. They brought with them Antonia born 1864, Emma born 1875 and Josef born about 1877. I know that they also had two or three other children, but I don't know their names or if they emigrated.

My problem has been that so far I cannot find any piece of data that shows what city they came from in Bohemia. So I am stuck with not being able to look up records of the family in Europe. The family does show up on the US census of 1880, 1900, and 1910. At one time they say they are from Austria and another time they say Germany.

I have found Antonia's marriage registery but that gives no information of origin. I have found a marriage registry for Emma which says her mother's maiden name was Hermann. I wonder if there is a way to find the actual marriage license which might tell their city of origin and more details ?

I have not been able to find when or where the parents died. The last time they show up on a census is 1910.
