I am trying to verify the cities my grandparents came from. I am sending for a copy of the application for social security that my grandmother made out. It should have on it her parents names, and where she was born, according to her, instead of what my family has been telling me. Unfortunately my grandfather died in his 40s and has less information to find on him, he was the Karakas. But I will keep on looking. Margie
Oh I did see in some reading I have done, that they did do census taking in Europe in Croatia. Just have to find out if we can somehow, figure out how to look at those some day. maybe it will mean a trip to Croatia? Margie
