I'm looking for help with info regarding my great-grandfather anton ewancio, or iwanciow, or iwanciou. Born in lemburg about 1880. His stated nationality is ruthenian, I understand that he spoke a couple of languages, including yiddish. I believe he arrived in america about 1900-1910. He could read and write. His wife was catherine bojanowska. He was in the austrian army. My mother remembers him, and she said that all the relatives would always say, "What happened over there, stays over there." I'm really interested, this is like a puzzle with a lot of pieces missing. Thanks for any assist.
