I'm researching a Stephen Vajda (b. 1865) in "Cari Hungary." I got this information from his 1897 New York City marriage license. Haven't had any luck finding the place. His ancestors maintained that he was a Czech and I know that he was Catholic. He married a Anna Somolarnyi in 1897. The marriage license says she was born in "Ruklov Hungary" but it is very difficult to read. It could just as easily be "Rublov." Thanks in advance for your help.
