A well-known personality and long-time citizen of the north side, Mr. Friedrich Harre, celebrated his 85th birthday yesterday within his family circle. The birthday boy was born 1 August 1809 in Halverstadt, Saxony.

In a second article about the event where his name is spelled Harr includes mention of a solo piano performance by a Miss Clarry and includes the guest list: Günther Fels Harney Kurtz Wilcox Meyer Schandein Gaubatz Johnston Teusen Blum Siegfried Zinselmeyer Seidel Kendrick. Guests came from as far away as Chicago.
