My family and are trying to find out the location of Maria Pirrung's childhood home near Metz, France. We were told that either she or her parents grew up on an estate with a chateau that later became a park. We also would like to know her mother's maiden name. When I was last in France I could not locate the estate. We are descendants of Maria and have several fascinating tales about Maria's family that have been passed on for generations. When I return to Europe next year, I would like to send pictures of her family's chateau if it is still standing.
