So we're probably cuzns. Great! I'm still tracking/documenting the Durni/Thurni individuals, but believe that the Durss mentioned below is somehow related to my direct line. Is his wife, Mary Elizabeth nee' Stegner part of your ancestry?
There are too many Thurni men named "Hans" (and variations). haha Also, I believe that many males were named Johann with a distinctive middle name. So it takes some time sorting it all out, comparing dates, places, etc. But, I do enjoy the 'hunt'!

1705 is in Rieschweiler - Pfals, 1708 in Hoeh-Mühlbach. married 1708 Mary Elizabeth, daughter of Johann Andreas Stegner in Muhlbach.
