I believe that Franz Bodde lived in Allendorf; his baptismal record is in Paderborn. He came to the U.S. possibly around or after 1850. His wife Adelheid Cramer is listed in the Passenger & Immigration Lists: German in American 1850-1874. The were married in St. Boniface Church, Detroit, Michigan, circa 1860 plus.
