I want to thank you for coming up with Reinhard's parents names. I had been searching for them for quite some time. Reinhard (my great-grandfather) was married twice. The first marriage was to a woman named Foske Denekas (there are a few variations on that name). The second marriage was to Jantje Arends.It was then that my grandfather Arend was born. Reinhard died in 1900 in Germany. Jantje immigrated to Iowa and married John Swalve (not sure how related to Reinhard)and had more children. THey were buried at Ramsey Reformed Cemetery in Titonka, IA.
