I am searching for my roots. My great grandparents came from Germany.
C. Fred Bartels and Dorothea Freda Holste both came from the Braunschweig , Germany area. He was born in 1840 and she in 1852. He came to US in 1865 and she in 1866. Settled in the Steubenville, Jefferson County, Ohio.

Louis C.F. Boger came to US in 1961 and went straight into the Civil war. His wife, Louise/ Louisa Wagener Doerger came in 1866 with a 6 yr old son. Also in Jefferson County.

Does any one have info about the above names or the names in the subject. Would appreciate any info you could share.
