I'm looking for info about Louise FRITZ who immigrated to Marathon County, WI from Germany in 1884. She married Wilhem F. FRAEDRICH 16 May 1884 in Marathon County, Wisconsin.

In doing my research I know there are Reinke's, Bartelt's and Pieper's in Marathon County also. I hope this may help someone. Good Luck!

Hi Charlene and Renee,

My Dahlke is FRIEDERIKE KAROLINE DAHLKE. She was born on Dec. 31, 1826 in Elsenaü, and married a JOHANN EWALD PRIEDöHL, on May 22, 1844 in Loosen/Elsenaü, kreis Schlochau. Her father was FRIEDRICH DAHLKE. I don't have any information on him. They had a child named FRIEDRICH ALBERT PRIEDöHL, born on Jan. 1, 1849, in Loosen/Elsanaü, kreis Schlochau. I also have a HERMANN DöHLKE as witness, I believe, to the marrage of Albert. I'm not sure how he fits in or even if he does.
Well, I hope this helps! Let me know if anything fits.

I too am searching the this name however our family tended to spell it Dilke(y).
What we have is three brothers and a sister coming from Germany:
Andrew (arrived US we think around 1840)
John Fredrick (arrived US 1854 as per census records)
August (arrived before 1855 when he married in Penn)
and Hattie (married a Fredrick Wagner in Germany and we think we have found them on a ship from Bremen 29 May 1854)

Our John Fredrick married a Johanna (Hannah)Bloomingstein. I do not have my records with me right now to give you more details but I think there is a chance we might have the same line.

I would like to compare notes.

Hi Florence,
My FRIEDERIKE KAROLINE DAHLKE was born in Loosen/Elsenau, kreis Schlochau on Dec. 31, 1826. Very close to the same time as your DAHLKE but a three year difference. Her father was FRIEDRICH DAHLKE. I don't have any information on FRIEDRICH, so I can't say if it is the same FRIEDRICH. FRIEDERIKE KAROLINE married a JOHANN EWALD PRIEDöHL. They had a child named FRIEDRICH ALBERT PRIEDöHL on Jan. 1, 1849 in Loosen/Elsenau, kreis Schlochau.

I hope this helps. Let me know how this works.

The LDS library has a family history book on tape of the Zellmer family. Perhaps you could order it to see if somehow related. I viewed it because some Zellmers are related to the Harmel family. My grandfather was a Harmel and came from Jankendorf, Posan, Prussia. There were Zellmers living in that area in the 1800's.

I have a Louis August Peeper (Pieper, Piper, Peper) b. 1803 somewhere in Prussia who came to US ca. 1824. He wound up in Missouri where he married in 1837. Any connection?
