Looking for info on:
Emil Woellner b.1852 in Saxony, Germany
m.Augusta (Roencke?) b. 1852 in Saxony, Germany
Children:
Emma b. 10/20/1880 St Joseph, Missouri d.3/5/1969in LA, CA.
Louis b.1888 St Joseph City,Missouri,d. 1/19/1973 in LA, CA,a baker
Louise b.1894 St Joseph City , Missouri a stenographer, m?
Died?
- I found some of the above info on the 1920 US census.
My great grandmother is Emma. She married Leander Hamman in Missouri (St.Joseph or Galt) and had 4 girls. They were in Los Angeles, California by 1920.
Edna (1902), Helen (1904), Frances (1910), Edith(1911?).
Edith died when she was 11. (The California Death Records for 1940-1997 are incorrect for the girls. Birthplace for Edna and Frances are incorrect, both were born at home in Missouri and Edna's birth date is wrong. She always like to say she was younger than she was).
Helen is my grandmother and married Ray Willard McMullen, he is from Formosa, Kansas.
Edna, married a number of times, no children
Frances, a dentist like her father, never married.
Louis Woellner never married and lived in Los Angeles.
Louise I have no information on.

I am trying to trace Woellner back to Saxony, Germany and the Roencke Family also from Saxony, Germany. Also info on Louise Woellner.
Connecting with the McMullens from Formosa, Kansas would be nice too.
Thanks!
