i am trying to find info on berlins form mecklenburg area around 1848 to 1873. i belive his name was john or johann. john fought in the franco prusain war. john married caroline in 1873 and a few months later moved to the us to live in hillsdale mi. john and caroline had four childern, charlie, fred, jenny and mary. any help would be great. there is no one to ask in the family, they have been gone a long time.
