I am looking for information on a grandfather of mine, Johan von Zijlen born abt 1515 of Neuendorff, Mecklenburg. He was married to Adelheid Claesdotter Wackerbart, born abt 1515 of Berga, Östergötland, Sweden. They had a daughter Poletta von Zijlen born 1538 of Berga, Kronoberg, Sweden. She married a man of nobility Eric Bagge af Berga. However, what I am interested in is finding out about Johan von Zijlen since I can't seem to find any information about this family name anywhere. Johan was Master of the Royal Household to a Polish king, don't know which one... I would greatly appreciate any help!!!
