I have been doing research on my family. Can any one tell me how I can find a birth certificate on my gggrandparents. Johann Alm born 5-24-1785 in Kness, Germany. Anne M. Mindeman born 12-5-1786 in Vahrenhaupt.

Parish for these towns is in Marlow and here are the film numbers that you could order/rent at a LDS Family History Center for $6 a roll for 5 weeks:

You can check at the FHC for the dates covered on each roll of film.

Select SEARCH FOR A PLACE
Type in KNEESE (the town you listed as Kness)
Click FIND A MAP

Then select the first entry and hit FIND A MAP again

You should select LARGE size for map and you can zoom in, but you should be able to see both Fahrenhaupt and KNEESE on the screen.
