The name they used in the United States is spelled Holdgrafer. However the emigrant record and the New Orleans Passenger List has their name as Holgreve. The name is often mis-spelled.

I am looking for someone who could look up the Bawinkel birth/marriage records. If I could find the birth record for William Foecke and sister Anna Elizabeth Foecke, then that might led to Anna Foecke parents and marriage record. And my goal is to find Henry Holdgrafer/Holgreve's parents.
