Carl Edward Schwartz, I believe, was born in Hessen Cassel circa 1824 the son of Ludwig Schwartz and Catherine Elizabeth Brand. He emigrated to Australia about 1857 and married a Rebecca Male, I believe, in Maryborough, Queensland on 14 September 1861. Any information would be appreciated. Regards, Grace Parker
