Need help with old German Ahnentafel sheet

I have an old family history sheet and on it, in Old German Script it lists (as best as I can describe it)
Beerfelden i/O (Could this mean in Odenwald) was this common to designate the area as well as the town? This is from the early to mid 1800's.

Thank you,
Michelle

Thank you Wolfgang. Why would this have been done this way? Was there more than one Beerfelden in Germany in the 1800's? I only know of one.

Beerfelde(n)

There is just Beerfelde in Brandenburg, but that could be reason enough!

Thank you again Wolfgang. Perhaps you could help me again. On this old family ahnentafel sheet the other towns listed are Gebhardtshütte, Gebhardtshütte (Oni) Bullau, Breitenbuch and Beerfelden. Do you know if these places are related in some way. Also where one could find the Evangelical Church records. The dates for these are between 1810 and 1875.

Have a nice day.
Michelle

Bullau and Gerhardtshütte

Bullau and Gerhardtshütte are also in the Odenwald area. "Breitenbuch" is not listed in my zip-code-book.

For the Evangelical Church records you should ask the central archive of the Prostestant Church in Hessen and Nassau (email: zentralarchiv@ekhn-kv.de).

Best wishes
Wolfgang

Michelle, I noticed the surnames in this post about Beerfelden. I have a Maria Lucia SPÄTH from Breitenbuch who married Johann George KUMPF XI from Beerfelden 9 May 1841 in Beerfelden. If this fits with your family, please email me for more information.

The Beerfelden church records to 1875 have been filmed by the LDS church, and are available for rent through your local Family History Center; if you are in Europe, they are only available to LDS church members there.

HTH, Barb
