I'm looking for advice on how to find more information about my Sangmeister and Georg lines. My 3rd-great grandmother, Elisabeth Sangmeister, said on her New York marriage certificate that she was from Rothenburg, Hesse-Cassel, born December 1859, and that her parents were Elias Sangmeister and Martha Elisabeth Georg.
