I am searching for information in Hessen, Germany concerning Sylvester Heger, who was born in ca. 1855 in Hessen, son of Joseph Heger and Margaret Haush. I do not have a city or town connected to them in Hessen unfortunately. Sylvester Heger came to the United States on May 31, 1882 on the ship, " Gellert ", from Hamburg, Germany. He arrived in the port of New York, but lived and died in Boston, MA. He named his children: Emil, William, Joseph Frederick, Marie, and Albert, just in case he may have named them after his family members.

I know this is very little information to work with, but unfortunately, it is all that I have. Any help at all in researching this family in Germany would be very much appreciated.
