I'm looking for any information about my gggg grandfather, Peter Gaubatz (b. 1789, in Hessen, Germany). He married Maria Roder (b. 1794, also in Hessen) in 1813.

They were the parents of Johann Peter Gaubatz, my ggg grandfather.

Also, Johann Peter (b. 8/3/1814, in Hessen) & Catherine Reppel (b. 7/8/1804, also from Hessen), were the parents of Ludwig Gaubatz (b. 6/22/1842) whom I can't find out any information about. I find all sorts of information about my gg grandfather, their other son, my gg grandfather, Phillip Casimir Gaubatz (b. 6/10/1845, also from Hessen), but nothing about his younger brother.

I could really use some help with this. Genealogy is a brand new thing to me. I know lots of places to look, thanks to some folks on the internet, but I seem to be stuck with these things.
