I am looking for information on the Bachmann Family. George Charles Bachmann was born July 8, 1825 in Hesse Cassel or Hamburg, came to America about 1846, and ended up in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio, where he married Johanna Jeannetta Wilhelmina Vogel. George's parents may have been Henry Bachmann and Barbara Rhinehart. Henry was never in this country and was born @ 1799 in Hamburg. There is also a Frederick Bachmann and a Jacob Bachmann listed in the Muskingum County Marriage Book III (1840 & 1843) -- are they perhaps brothers of George? Does anyone have information on this family? I would appreciate it.

John W. Reuschlein (born December 16th, 1845 and died on October 19th, 1924 in Cumberland, MD.) Policeman, also served in the civil war in the Potomac Home Brigade's 2nd Regement. He was married on September 29th, 1867 to Gertrude Elizabeth Baughman (or Bachman) (Born 16 Oct 1845 / Died 4 July 1906 - Buried in Cumberland MD). They had 7 children together: George Arthur, Catherine W, Charles F., Mary Anella , Martin W., Charles F. and Richard John Reuschlein

Maria Eva "Mary" Reuschlein - (Born, August 15th, 1832 / Died December 19th, 1915) (Elizabeth's child) She married on May 6th, 1851 in Burlington, WI to Lorenzo Maisch (according to the family accounts: She gave birth to a daughter Caroline in 1852 at the same time her husband reportedly died). She also married Jodakus (Jost) Voelkel (Born ? - Died June 13th, 1883) sometime prior to September 16th, 1852 (when they both served as baptismal witnesses for Jasno Reuschlein who is the son of Glennes (Heinrich Josef) and Reginae (Regina) Liebler Reuschlein). She was also married in August 1888 to a Peter Emser (born ?? / Died January 21st, 1898).

Johannes Friesh Bachmann 1848-1926 Obersuhl. he married Anna Martha Backer 1852-1904 Obersuhl. They had a daughter Anna Martha Bachmann 1882-1949 Obersuhl. She married a Gustav Adolf Suck 1881-1938 Stockhausen. They had 13 children.
